AIMS have been lucky enough to receive a huge donation from Mid-Devon Cycle Club of £3,000.00.
The Club was formed in 1930 and has a rich history and a reputation for producing some of the country’s leading riders including Tour de France riders. They hold regular club and training rides (at 8 different ability levels), social events and trips to cycling events and sportives. Members regularly compete in regional and national time trial events.
Mid Devon CC also promotes the Dartmoor Classic which has rapidly grown into one of the ‘must do’ events on the sportive calendar recently voted as the UK’s NO. 1 Sportive by the readers of Cycling Weekly magazine.
The proceeds from the 2023 Dartmoor Classic were presented to AIMS by some of the Club Members. The Dartmoor Classic Sportive is the largest amateur cycling challenge in the South West of England.
