We have had a really busy time at AIMS. The weather has been brilliant and allowed a lot of outdoor play. Some of our families went on the DREAM-AWAY holidays in Exmouth and had a really good time and I gather there are still others who have joined the scheme.

We have finished the sculpture for the TRAIL which is now up in the trees at the back of the Hospital on the path leading to the Manor. It has already been much admired.

The children did us proud dancing at the Teignmouth Folk Festival. The costumes are all ready for their next outing at the Carnival in Dawlish on August 20th.

Robin has finished the DVD which he showed at AIMS and it has been successful at talks in explaining the work we do. We raised £1400 at our Race Night  and as a result of the DVD were given another £200 raised by the Sunday Lunchtime Club at Ashcombe Village Hall. We also raised £50 at Holcombe Residents, Charles and Sarah Hacket donated their wedding money of £520, the total from the sale at Bridge House was £100, the Bramble Bashers gave us £100 and the Teignmouth Townswomen’s Guild £150. The Swan Inn is  having their annual barbeque on Sunday September 5th. Last year they raised a lot of money for us so we hope that you will join us on that day.

We have raised a lot of money and a BIG BIG THANK YOU to all who have supported us but we do need to continue to ensure the future of AIMS.

The programme for the next few weeks is attached. Please note all the dates and the information given as we are not always at the Bungalow.

Our new web site is up and running although it needs to be updated. Please bear with us.

For those of you going on holiday have a brilliant time and for those of us staying at home I hope the weather is as good as it has been
