Well we are at the end of 2019 and what a busy year it has been. We have welcomed many new families.
We have settled into a different part of the building and now have even more space than we did before. Thank you to all the volunteers and staff for helping us through some difficult times and to the families for bearing with us during some changes
We visited East Shallowford Farm https://shallowfordfarm.co.uk/on their open day and our families had an amazing time.
We managed to raise just over £2,800.00 at our annual BBQ a huge thank you to everyone at The Swan for their support. We have also received £300.00 from Holcombe Gentlemens Rugy Football Club from their annual Conkers Championship and £200.00 from Holcombe Residents Association from a quiz. Brian Hodge presented us with a cheque for £350.00 from Dawlish Water Rotary.
We also held our annual Carols by Candlelight Service which raised a huge sum of £1,675.00 for us. We are extremely lucky to continue to receive such enormous support.
Due to the huge amount of donations we have received we were able to take our children on a Sail with Santa boat trip which they thoroughly enjoyed.https://www.stuartlinecruises.co.uk/
To end the year we held our annual Christmas party which was a huge success. The children enjoyed party games and all received a present from Santa which was donated by the Dawlish Christian Spiritualist Church.
All of our staff and volunteers have worked so hard and the families have received so much support – thank you to each and every one of you.
We have some amazing activities lined up for next year and am sure the group will continue to go from strength to strength.
