On 21st September 2019 The Castle Inn, Holcombe http://www.castleinnholcombe.co.uk held a Leek Show and all profits were donated to AIMS.
12.00 – 12.30 pm COMPETITORS MUST BENCH THEIR LEEK
12.30 – 1.15 p.m. JUDGING, LEEK SOUP AND BEER
Washed, clean, undamaged leek will be measured length from last flag button to the end of white and circumference the widest part of leek.
Size will be length x circumference in cubic inches

1.15 p.m. PRIZE GIVING
The Golden Leek – The Queerest Leek – The Wee Lee –
The Prettiest Leek- The Deadest Leek
A consolation prize for the rest.
1.45 p.m. RAFFLE FOR AIMS
All leek show monies collected will be donated to AIMS.
The grand total of £318.00 was raised for AIMS. Well done to everyone who participated and a huge thank you to everyone involved for raising this huge sum for us.
