Our children submitted art entries into the Dawlish Flower, Produce and Crafts Show which was held on 10th August 2019.  Some of our children were lucky enough to receive awards for the crafts but were not able to attend the show back in August.  We have recently settled back after the summer holidays and presented the children with their awards.
Dawlish Garden Society treated Dawlish to a spectacular Flower, Produce and Crafts Show Strand Centre and said “The entries are growing in number and the quality just keeps getting better each year. It’s encouraging to see more children entering their creative work across all categories.

The Mayor – Councillor Alison Foden – formally opened the Show, praising the hard work of Dawlish Garden Society committee members in planning and organising such a super event.  The Mayor chose the winner of the Edwin’s Award given to the best exhibit by a person with special needs – an imaginative painting of a boat on a paper plate.
