We have all had a fantastic year at AIMS. We have had a very short December running only for three Saturdays but what a month we have had.
We held our annual Carol Concert at Luscombe Church which, as always, was a huge success and managed to raise a huge sum of money for us. Thank you to everyone involved.
Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Lizzie from Dance in Devon http://danceindevon.org.uk/but are hoping she will be back again at some point in the future to do some further workshops with our children. We have loved having her come along each month and the children have really responded to the sessions.
We have also had our annual Christmas Party which was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who came along to help out. Also a huge thank you to Dawlish Christian Spiritualist Church who provided individual presents for the children and also brought Santa along to hand these out. We are all extremely grateful and the children had an amazing time. Also thank you to Shaldon Singers who came along and donated a cheque for the grand total of £434.00.
Finally, our children were lucky enough to have a sail with Santa experience with Stuart Line Cruises https://www.stuartlinecruises.co.uk/sail-with-santa/ thanks to an annonymous donor who paid for the children to attend this trip. Despite the rough weather we all had a great time and the children really enjoyed all the things on offer such as face painting, punch and Judy, balloon modelling and of course visiting Santa.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Claire
